Gemmotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy that uses buds and young shoots from trees and shrubs. Harvested in spring at a key moment in their natural growth cycle, the buds and young shoots are prepared fresh and macerated in a solution of water, alcohol, and glycerin, which allows for the complete extraction of the active ingredients.
